Mrs. Abby Harmon, who died at the Home of Her Daughter, Mrs Perry Bechdolt, Wednesday Afternoon

Mrs. Abby Harmon, died Wednesday at 2:p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Perry Bechdolt. She was in her ninety-second year having been born in Fairfield County near Columbus, October 28 1827. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Kunce.
A Rev. Spangler administered the sacrament of Baptism and she was confirmed in the Lutheran church when quite young.
When she was but 17 years old she was united in holy wedlock with Jack Harmon. To them were twelve children born, namely Ike, Lewis, William, Monroe, John, Jacob, Frona, Lydia, Christina, Lena Lucy, and Mary. Her husband and nine children preceded her in death and those surviving are Mrs. Lydia Davis, Christina Dixon, and Mary Bechdolt. Also she raised a foster child, Charles Stephenson who resides at Bryan, Ohio.
For the last five years she has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Mary Bechdolt who has so tenderly cared for her.
Mrs. Harmon was ever a good kind and faithful mother and a friend to everybody. She would share everything she possessed and always looked at the bright side of life, praying and singing until God called her away. Mrs Harmon slept away in beautiful death as her three daughters were at her bedside, reaching the age of 81 years, 8 months and 2 days.
Funeral services held Saturday at Liberty Church, leaving the house at 9 o'clock. Rev J.C. Einfast will be in charge. Interment at Liberty Cemetery.
Her husband, Jacob Harmon was buried at St. Paul Lutheran church.
