He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and the American Legion here. He was a member of the Carpenters Union in Palm Springs, Calif. He served with the Army during World War II.
Mr. Cruise was born Feb. 18, 1905, at Whiting, Kan., and spent his childhood there. He attended St. Anthony's College at Atchison, Kan.
He married Mildred Althea Noble at Lyndon, Kan., Feb. 19, 1941.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Cruise are one daughter, Mrs. JoAnn Hyde, of Terre Haute, Ind., and two grandchildren.
