Mrs. Emma Trumbull, aged 76, died at 5:10 o'clock this morning in the home of her son, John Trumbull, 1816 North Adams street, with whom she had made her home. She had been ill six weeks. Born in Michigan, March 12,1860, she came to South Bend from that state 40 years ago. Surviving are the following other children: Albert, Mrs. John Long and James of South Bend; three step-children, Eugene Trumbull of Vicksburg, Mich., Fred, of Elkhart, Ind., and William of Lydick, this county; a brother, William Calhoun, of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren in South Bend. The body may be viewed in the home where the funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon with Rev. Ray Bird, of the City Rescue mssion, in charge. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
