Former Sheridan resident Arlene Kay, 69, of Cheyenne died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, in Cheyenne. Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Schrader Chapel in Cheyenne with family and friends officiating. Inurnment of cremains will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Big Horn at a later date. Local arrangements are with Kane Funeral Home. Ms. Kay was born Dec. 23, 1935, in Sheridan to Bert and Dorothy (Sackett) Kay. Survivors include a son, Joseph "Mike" French of Cheyenne; a daughter, Lisa Lofquist of Wittmann, Ariz.; a brother, Wallace of Tacoma, Wash.; a sister, Patricia Smith of Buffalo; and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross Tsunami Relief Fund.
