Robert Adair Beattie, 60, of Cleveland, Tenn., died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was a native of Athens, Ala., a member of Local 175, IBEW and the Chattanooga Masonic Lodge 169, F&AM.

He is survived by wife, Mrs. Mable Beattie, Cleveland; daughter, Mrs. Betty Foster, Columbia, S.C.; mother, Mrs. Robert S. Beattie, Chattanooga; brother, Ernest Beattie Sr., Athens, Ala.; sisters, Mrs. S.J. Reid, Camden, S.C., Mrs. B.E. Hatfield, Chattanooga; granddaughter, Mrs. Paula Killebrew, Cleveland, Tenn.; two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Chattanooga Funeral Home.
