Funeral services for Mr. William J. "Bill" Blackstock, 84, of West Monroe will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2008 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Jon Tellifero officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery.

Mr. Blackstock was a member of First United Methodist Church in West Monroe and a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. Bill retired from GMAC Finance Department. He served in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Chris Blackstock; daughters, Kay Storm and Jan Harville and husband, Richard; grandsons, Ben Elmore and Daniel Elmore; granddaughters, Jordan Harville, Mallory Harville, and Peyton Harville; great granddaughter, Cailyn Elmore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Lee Edwards, Lee Beard, Van Westbrook, Sonny McKee, Ron Poindexter, and Bill Province.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
