Pearl M. (Coplin) Stults, 90, of Bedford Township, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 1994, in Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo, where she was admitted Oct. 27.

She was born Nov. 11, 1903 in Olivet to Clarence and Viola (Volland) Coplin. She graduated from Olivet High School in 1922 and attended Olivet College in 1923 and Argubright Business College in 1924.

Mrs. Stults was employed by Kellogg Co. in the Advertising Department in the late 1920s. She was a homemaker most of her life.

She was a former member of Battle Creek Society of Artists.

She enjoyed attending art shows, traveling, camping and sporting events and her flower garden.

She married Leslie "Tim" Stults. He died in 1964 in Battle Creek.

Surviving are a son, Roger L. Stults of Battle Creek; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a brother, Ernest Coplin of Olivet.

She also was preceded in death by sisters, Eva Sims of Battle Creek and Cora Paige of Olivet; brothers, Lansing Coplin of Charlotte and Earl Coplin of Olivet.

Visitation: Monday at Farley-Estes Funeral Home.

Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Pastor David L. Morton officiating.

Burial: Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
