Roger Lee Stults, 89, a lifelong Battle Creek resident died peacefully at Bickford Assisted Living on Friday, April 22, 2022. Roger was born December 12, 1932 in Battle Creek to Leslie "Tim" and Pearl M. (Copeland) Stults. He attended Battle Creek Central High School and graduated from Harper Creek High School. Roger honorably served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Watts, a Fletcher class destroyer, during the Korean War. He was employed 34 years as a printer and die setter in the printing department for the Kellogg Company, prior to his retirement. Roger was preceded in death by his first wife, Agnes Marie (Smith) Stults; and his second wife, Johnnie Ruth (Reed) Stults. Surviving are his third wife, Reba Christine (Terry) Stults; daughters, Lynn Maiolo, Denise Karis, Jackie Shea all of Battle Creek and Sandi Howard of Panama City, FL; son-in-law, Dennis (Diane) Latshaw of Battle Creek; grandchildren, Brian (Beth) Latshaw of Kalamazoo, Rachel Phillips of Battle Creek, Brandon Karis of Los Alamos, NM, Courtney Karis of Battle Creek, Kent (Corie) Shea of Battle Creek; great-grandchildren, David Latshaw, Megan Phillips; and numerous nieces, nephews cousins and their families. In addition to his two wives, Roger was also preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah (Maiolo) Latshaw, Terry Reed and a son, Richard Reed.
