Mrs. Mary Lillie Hunt, age 60 years, 11 months, 23 days, died Sunday night and was buried at Hopewell Cemetery, Monday afternoon. Her former pastor, Rev. D. A. Brown, assisted by Rev. E. S. Dunbar and Rev. F. M. Cannon, conducted the services. Mrs. Hunt was feeling well enough to visit her children Sunday afternoon and early evening and returning home about 9 o'clock was taken suddenly ill died immediately. Mrs. Hunt leaves the following survivors: one sister Mrs. Sam J. Smith of Wexford Community; her husband J. H. Hunt; four sons W. T. Hunt and H. B. Hunt of Chesterfield, C. Clyde Hunt of Durham, N.C., J. F. Hunt of Cheraw; six daughters Mrs. Viola Eddins of Lilesville, N.C., Mrs. Bennett McLaurin of Wadesboro, N.C., Mrs. D. E. Chewning, Mrs. James Lee, Miss Cleo Hunt and Miss Evelyn Hunt of Chesterfield; 18 grandchildren, all of these attending the funeral.
