Gus Boelts, residing about 11 miles southeast of Palmer was killed almost instantly last Saturday afternoon in a collision of his car with a creamery truck driven by Robert Johnson, a Fullerton youth.
The accident occurred on the Ormsby road about five miles west of Central City.
Boelts was driving west and struck the truck at an intersection. Johnson suffered a broken arm, and Bill Townsend, a passenger with him, was bruised.
Mr. Boelts is survived by his widow, four daughters, two sons, and two sisters.
