KOUTS -- Harold A. Cannon, 73, a resident here for 27 years, coming from Crown Point, died at his home today after a one-year illness.
He was born at Kouts on Feb. 21, 1899. Cannon was a member of the Christian Church and was a retired electrician.
Surviving are his widow, Ida; three daughters, Mrs. Donald Goodpaster, Valparaiso, Mrs. James Lampl, Fairfax, Va., and Mrs. Eugene Roelke, Dallas, Tex.; two sons, Charles and James, both of Valparaiso; a step-son, Charles Lippert, Kouts; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Anderson, Mrs. Ethel Riley and Mrs. Lucille Jarnecke all of Kouts; 20 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Arrangements are pending at Kosanke Brothers Funeral Home.
