She was born November 9, 1940, in Bedford County, to the late Charlie Christmon, Sr, and Annie Williams Christmon. She was retired from the University of Dayton.
She is survived by a son, Terrell (Tra-Shay) Rodgers, of Opelika, Alabama; three brothers, Charlie Christmon, JR., Robert Christmon, and Walter Christmon, all of Shelbyville; three sisters, Hattie Holman and Shirley Owens, both of Shelbyville, and Dorothy Wright, of Stafford, Virginia; three grandchildren, Dearguyce Rodgers, Zajaelon Rodgers, and Tremir Rodgers.
