EUREKA – Fannie E. Brock died March 4, 2009, at Greenwood County Hospital, Eureka. She was 94. She was born Aug.12,1914, at Peterton, the daughter of Clarence Eugene and Bessie Sue (Thomas)Lane. She attended school at Peterton.

She married Ray F. Brock, March 7, 1935. He preceded her in death on Sept. 30,1997.

They made their farming homes in the Osage City and Burlington areas and retired in Osage City. In 2000,she moved to the Gran Villas in Osage City and then in 2005 moved to Medical Lodge, Eureka.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Brock; a grandson, Robert Brock; and three brothers, Lawrence Lane, Albert Lane and Clarence
James Lane.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Shelton and husband, Jerry, Shell Knob, Mo.; a daughter-inlaw,Joneal Brock, Eureka; a grandson, Brian Brock,Independence, Mo.; a granddaughter,Joanne Waldner and husband, Bruce, Waverly;a great-grandson; a greatgranddaughter;two greatgreat-grandchildren; a sister,Judy Lawrence, Dardenne Prairie, Mo.; and a brother,Donald Lane, Eagan, Minn.

Services were March 7, at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel,Osage City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fannie E. Brock Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N.
6th, Osage City, KS 66523.
