Soccer Player. Was a graceful defender of great skill and tactical ability, he played for the Italia National Team 78 times and won 1982 World Cup . He started played in A serie with Atalanta for two seasons, before transferring to Juventus, with whom he would stay until the end of his playing career. He played for Juventus 552 times and won 7th Scudettos, 2 Italy cup, 1 UEFA Cup, 1 Cups of Cup, 1 SuperUEFACup, 1 Champions Cup and 1 intercontinental Cup ..
He retired from club football at the end of the 1987–1988. Following this he took up the role of scout and observer at Juventus.Professional Football (Soccer) Player. Athlete. When he joined Juventus in the summer of 1974, his fame & success was unmatched as he won the Italian Championship (Serie A) 7 times, 2 Coppa Italia's (Italian Cup), 1 UEFA Cup, 1 European Winner's Cup Trophy, a UEFA Super Cup, and in the Summer of 1982, he won the FIFA World Cup with fellow Juventus teammates Dino Zoff, Claudio Gentile, Marco Tardelli & Paolo Rossi. He retired from playing professional football in May of 1988 leaving behind a legacy as one of the greatest defenders of all time. He stayed on board with Juventus until he passed away in 1989.
