Catherine Elizabeth Faust , the wife of Peter Kerschner (1749-1812), was baptized 5 April 1752 at Bern Church in Bern Township, Berks Co PA. Parents were records as Philip Faust and wife. Cleaning up 45 some years records on Philip "Lebs" Faust Family. In his estate Peter Kerfehner is given an equal share in the estate as are his other son-in-laws & sons. Wife Magdalena names daughter Catharina (no Catherine Elizabeth) & son-in-law Peter Kerschner. Philip's NSDAR application #588218 1986 gives list of children births and spouses. Catharina's birth listed as 23 June 1747. Peter Kershner NSSAR application 1945 gives wife Catherine born 23 June 1747. NOTE he is the Lt. I saw where one of the Find-a-Graves had been merged. NSDAR Patriot Index lists two Peter Kershners. Pvt Peter b 4-9-1749 PA d 4-18-1812 md Catherine Fensfermacher (believe he is son of Conrad. Hist of Lehigh co notes Conrad had a dau md Fensfermacher, they were from Lynn twn). Our group were from Berks twn. The second Peter listed b 4-17-1747 d 9-11-1809 md Catherine & listed as Lt. My old notes state he and Catharine dau of Philiip Faust were buried Bern Union Church Cemetery as was her sister Christena Faust md Henry Fisher (I can't find that one now either). We have two Peter's both md Catharines one md Faust one md Fensfermacher.. I can't find a Weber anywhere.
