enlisted May 23, 1861 at Ft Curtis, Springfield, MO
Wounded, shot in left side of his body in a skirmish at the Polk Plantation, near Helena, Ark on May 25, 1863. Believed to have died in the Helena Gen Hosp 2 days later.
All five Albert brothers served in the Union Army during the Civil War.
