The 18 months old boy of Mr and Mrs. Thos. Blacker died last Tuesday morning, of pneumonia.The child had been afflicted with whooping cough, which turned to pneumonia, from which he could not get relief.
The funeral services were held in the Afton meeting house Thursday at 3 pm. Elder W.A. Hyde and Bishop Osborne Low were the speakers, who offered words of instruction and consolation to the bereaved. the casket was profusely covered with beautiful flowers. the remains were tenderly laid away in the Afton cemetery
Mr and Mrs. Blacker have our heartfelt sympathy.
