Funeral services for Grady E. Hill, Sr., 68, of Port Arthur, TX, a brother of J. W. Hill of Houston, who died at 9:30 pm Tuesday of a heart attack at El Dorado, AR, where he was hospitalized, will be conducted from the Vardaman Baptist Church this afternoon. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery at Vardaman.
The body will arrive at Vardaman about noon today and will lie in state until 3:15 at the Baptist Church.
Mr. Hill, a native of Vardaman, had a heart atack late Saturday afternoon. He was rushed immediately to El Dorado, where his son is a doctor at a hospital there. He was believed improving when he suddenly took a turn for the worse. J. W. Hill visited with his brother last week. He leaves two sons, Dr. G. E. Hill, Jr., of El Dorado and Charles Wallace Hill of New Orleans.
