Thomas S. Aylward Dies; Rites Held Tuesday
Thomas S. Aylward, well-known and esteemed resident of this community, passed away at his home Saturday afternoon, Jan 1. He had been in poor health for some time.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock with high mass at St. Mary of the Woods church, the rosary services being Monday evening at 8 o'clock at the Tretheway funeral home. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.
Mr. Aylward was the last of six children of James and Elizabeth Butler Aylward. He was born June 2, 1873 and spent his entire life on the family farm. He was devoted to his church and a highly esteemed citizen.
