Mrs. Love was born January 13, 1929 in Caldwell, Texas to Josef and Albina Lesikar Chaloupka. She married Barney Love on September 24, 1949 in Temple; he died July 12, 1997. She was a member of Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Katherine Love of Temple; three sons, James Love and wife(Olga Charles)Love, William Love, and Jessie Love and wife (Melina) all of Temple; three sisters, Albina Dornhoefer of Temple, Clara Kramer of College Station, and Marie Kaulfus of Temple and sister-in-law Dellarene Chaloupka. She was preceded in death by her husband Barney Love, her parents Josef and Albina Lesikar Chaloupka, sisters, Adele Stevenson, Mildred Chaloupka, Lydia Foley, Vlasta Machann, and Rosie Wilde and brothers, Edward and William Chaloupka.
Her vegetable garden provided homegrown vegetables all year round as she loved to can them. Her specialty was homemade peach cobbler from the peaches she grew and canned. She loved to make cuttings from her flowers to share with family and friends. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. The Love Family would like to thank all for their kind words and deeds.
Visitation will be held 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
