Andrew Roll, 78, of Brownstown died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Mr. Roll worked at Arvin Industries 40 years and was a member of Norman Conservation Club.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday. Burial will be at Kurtz Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary or Norman Conservation Club.

Born in Jackson County Feb. 5, 1930, Mr. Roll was the son of George A. and Myrtle Elkins Roll. He married Linda Pferrer June 2, 1973, in Brownstown.

Survivors include his wife; children, Margaret (John) Ault, David (Sheila) Roll, Mike (Jerri K.) Roll, Tim (Kim) Roll, Eric (Paula) Roll, Raymond Wheeler and Barbara (Clyde) Lemarr; a brother, Wayne (Judy) Roll; 14 grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Vickery; and brothers, Earl, Merle, Hershel, Martin, Charles and Dick Roll.
