Mrs. Smith, 63, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, in Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and had been a resident of the Burnside community for the past 40 years. She was a former bookkeeper for J.C. Penney Store in Philadelphia for 42 years.
Mrs. Smith was a member of First United Methodist Church in Philadelphia.
Survivors include her husband, Rex Smith of Philadelphia; one daughter, Pamela Sue Wilcher of Philadelphia; two grandchildren; three sisters, Willie Pierce of Gulfport, Ruth Sharp of Collinsville and Jimmie Harris of Smithville, Tenn.; two brothers, Jack Walters and Bobby Walters, both of Philadelphia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were James Pair, Charles Pair, Mark Walters, Tony Hardy, Tim Sharp, Thomas Walters and Terry Pair.
