She was a native of Neely, MS and a member of the Baptist faith. She died February 1, 1994 at George County Hospital following a lengthly illness.
Survivors include, one son, Charles Edwin Brown, Birmingham, AL; two daughters, Opree Jane Whitecomb, Lucedale and Laverne Camacho, Santa Rosa, FL; three sisters, Flora Brown, Clara Bell Green and Lillie Rae Williamson, all of Lucedale; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Services were conducted by Rev. Alton Bristo. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery with George County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers included, Shawn Criswell, Shawn Lawson, Rusty Banks, Rusty Whitcomb, Elvin Camacho, Chet Brown and David Arnold.
