LAWRENCE — Mrs. Adela Garrido, 88, of Lawrence, beloved wife of the late Miguel J. Rojas, died Thursday morning, Nov. 13, 2008 in the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence.
Born and raised in Guatemala, she was the daughter of the late Jesus and Juanita (Garrido) Recinos. She immigrated to this country in 1999, settling in Lawrence where she has since resided.
Mrs. Garrido was a member of the Inglesia Cristiana Getsemani Church on Essex Street in Lawrence.
Surviving her are two daughters, Frine Lopez of Lawrence and Carmen Tranpe of Guatemala; two sons, Guillermo Rojas and Mario A. Rojas, both of Lawrence; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at the Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence.
