Mrs. Annis Abney, 64, died Wednesday morning following a long illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Scrivner. She was a member of the Christian Church. The body was prepared for burial by the Lewis Morticians and removed to the home of a son, Troy Abney, where funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery.
Survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Foster, Detroit, MI, Mrs. Ona Scrivner, Irvine, Miss Hoyt Abney, Long Island, NY and Mrs. Bertha Berry, New York City. Four sons, Troy and Chester, both of Irvine, Floyd of Beattyville and Home of Detroit, MI. Fourteen grandchildren, six sisters; Mrs. Roy Tipton, Mrs. Lena Tipton and Mrs. Maude McIntosh, all of this county. Mrs. Minnie Kerr and Mrs. Clara Waters of Clay City and Mrs. Fannie Walters of Winchester and one brother, Steve Chaney of Tipton Ridge.
