GOFF
Mrs. J.B. Goff, one of the oldest and most highly respected citizens of this section of the country, died at her home in the Basin community last Friday after an illness of many months and was buried in the Gibson Cemetery Saturday, Rev. N.S. Loftus, her pastor, having charge of the funeral services.
She bore her suffering during her long siege of sickness with Christian fortitude. She was a member of the Methodist Church, a Christian woman, devoted wife and mother and a loyal friend.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Poll [Sabra Frances] Brown, Mrs. D.D.[Eula Belle] Kennedy and Mrs. Henry [Mary Gertrude] Wallsmith; three sons, Hugh, Alf and Noll Goff, twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and other relatives and a host of friends. And to these the Times extends deepest sympathy in this their dark hour of sorrow.
