According to his Oklahoma death certificate, Fifield Faussett is buried in East Hill Cemetery in Neosho County, Kansas, in the same plot with Nancy Ann, five of their children, and his mother Lavinia. The tombstone in the Fausset plot does have his name inscribed but his death date is uncut at this time 2012.

In the 1930 census Fifield Fausset, age 94, is living with his youngest daughter Lela, Mrs. Kelsey Boatman, at Mangum, Greer County, OK.

Fifield Fausett served in the Indiana Artillery in the Civil War. He filed an application for Civil War Pension in Oklahoma in February 1931, and apparently died about nine months later in Oklahoma.
