He passes away on 19 Feb 1930 at the age of 73 years 11 months and 1 day according to his death certificate. They had two children named Jennie May and Martha Alice. Unable to locate when she divorced. ---- (according to the Michigan U.S. Marriage Records 1822-1940.
1897-1906 - She married our great grandfather Enos Emery Alger in Mount Pleasant MI on 19 Oct 1897. She had their first son, Samuel Emery Alger on May 17, 1891 (6 years prior to marriage). She divorced Enos on 10 Sep 1906. Our grandfather, George Dewey Alger, was not born until 6 Jun , 1898. She had grandpa's brother Ernest Alvan Alger on December 25, 1901.
1906 – 1921 - She later married Joseph James Dougherty on October 5, 1906 and divorced him on Jan 8, 1921. They had one child Ida Amelia Dougherty born 1912. (according to the Michigan U.S, Death Records 1897-1929 & the 1920 census)
