Edward and Eliza Jane were the parents of Laura (R.C. LANE), Lawrence John (Lenna), Wallace Edwin (Anna), Louis, and Grace. Louis never married, and Grace died in childhood.
Edward/Edmond went to live with his son Wallace BRENNAN in Kansas City in about 1900, and he died there on 6 July 1904. He was brought back to Wakenda Baptist Church Cemetery to be buried next to his wife, Eliza Jane BRENNAN, who died in 1881. They are buried in unmarked graves, though the plot record reads "BRENNEN".
Edward's obituary reads: "He united with the M.E. Church in 1870, and always lived a consistent christian life. Mr. Brennan was one of the most thoroughly honest men who ever lived in our community, and won the respect and confidence of all."
