Funeral services were held for Johnnie Truman Howell, 77, of Lucedale, November 27, 2000 at 2 p.m. from Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church of Lucedale.

A native of Oak Grove, Ala., he was a burner at Ingalls Shipbuilding. A WWII Navy Veteran and a member of Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church, he died November 25 at Mobile Infirmary.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Maxine Cochran Howell, a daughter, Patricia Smith; a son Dana Andrew Howell, six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He is also survived by three brothers, Ray Howell, Lonnie Howell and Gilbert Howell.

Interment was held at Crossroads Free Pentecostal Cemetery with Bro. Harry Cochran and Bro. Millard Howell officiating the services.

Pallbearers were Gary Cochran, Larry Cochran, Henry Cochran, Mike Cochran, Kevin Cochran and Phillip Breland. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Senior Adult Sunday School class.
