Charley King, a Choctaw Indian, age about 49 years, was found unconscious near his home in the Bohanan neighborhood, Friday of last week, and died the following day. He was buried Sunday in the Bohanan Cemetery. It is believed his death was due indirectly to some bad liquor, and it is said that there has been more or less of this sort of beverage available in the communities recently. It is thought that he may have drunk some that was more or less poisonous, causing the unconsciousness and resulting in exposure, from the direct effect of which he died. He was a well known Indian in this section and attended ordinarily to his own business.
