EAST PALESTINE - Mrs. Martha Miller, 85, of 1793 Brookdale Ave. passed away 6:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center of Columbiana.
Mrs. Miller was born Sept. 13, 1923, in Unity, a daughter of the late John Wesley and Anna Louise Hays Shearer. She had been a life resident of the community.
She had worked as a mold runner for the former W.S. George Pottery of East Palestine.
She is survived by her husband, Albert H. Miller, whom she married July 3, 1950. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Debra (Jerry) Wansack of Petersburg and Mrs. Diane (Joe) Sebbio of Salem; a son, Joe A. Miller of East Palestine; a sister, Mrs. Eva Widowfield, and a brother, John Shearer, both of East Palestine, and grandchildren, Matthew Wansack of Petersburg, and Zane and Angelina Sebbio of Salem.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Olive Boyles, and an infant daughter, Linda Sue Miller.
Private family services were held on Monday, Nov. 3,with burial at Salem Reformed Cemetery.
Arrangements were with the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home.
