Blood Poison Fatal To Mrs. Princie Buckner

Mar. Princie Buckner, aged 65, died in a Rome, Ga., Hospital on Thursday, January 31st. She stuck a splinter in her hand about three weeks ago which caused infection. Blood poisoning and death resulted.
Mrs. Buckner was well known to the people of Blount County. She was the widow of the late William S. Buckner and resided in Oneonta for many years.
She was a good Christian woman and had been a member of the Baptist Church since early woman-hood.
The deceased is survived by four sons, Tom Buckner, of Selma; A.E. and Ed Buckner of Anniston, and Wyatt Buckner of Rome, Ga.; one brother and two sisters of Rome, Ga., and many relatives in this county.
The remains were brought back to Oneonta for burial beside her husband in Old Liberty Cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by Revs. L.T. Fendley and R.A. Tuck, of Oneonta, and Revs. Stauffer and Howell, of Anniston.
