"John W Rigsby, 72, died Monday in the Medical Center in Columbus after a long illness. Funeral services were held, Thursday at the Oakland Church Of God with the Rev Luther Forsyth and the Rev J W Grimsley officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Level Cemetery near Mauk.
"Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Hubert Phillips, of Mauk; Mrs. Frank Phillips, of Moultrie; Mrs. john W Hale; and Mrs. A C Hale, of Juniper; sons, Hubert Rigsby, and of Juniper; and David Rigsby, of Mauk; and a sister, Mrs. Mandy Pate, of Columbus."
