Mrs. Mable Williams Lawrence, the daughter of Annie Mae Ussery Williams, and the late Lawrence Williams, passed away at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. In addition to her father, she is predecesed by three brothers: Kellom, Edmond and Dolphus Williams. She leaves to cherish fond memories, her mother; loving husband of 51 years, Johnnie Lawrence, Jr., son, Johnny Lee and his wife, Antionette Lawrence of High Point, North Carolina; a brother and sister-in-law, Benjamin "BJ" and Shiley Williams of Fayetteville, North Carolina; grandson and wife, Linwood and Connie Carter, three great grandchildren, Victoria, Kimburlee and Justin Carter, and a host of extended family members and friends. Dual Homegoing services for Mable Williams Lawrence and Pearl Coates Lawrence were held on June 1, 2002, at the Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Belwood, NC.
