Son of James Thompson Bailey (1849-1919)and Mary Catherine Leach Bailey (1859-1947)

Married Margaret (Maggie) Burdine. She was the daughter of Andrew Burdine and Mary Emeline Snider Burdine. She was the 4th of 5 children. There are five known children from this marriage.

Claude is a veteran of World War I. He enlisted and started service on 15 July 1918.

Claude was a section hand laborer for the Comsville and Nashville Railroad, Norwood, Kentucky.

Date of interment in this cemetery, 28 Sept. 1967. Maggie is also buried in this cemetery on the same plot.
