Michael Rupp, died March 12, 2006 in Elkhart, Kan. He was born July 23, 1916 in Ness City, son of Joseph and Catherine Dechant Rupp.

On July 23, 1940, he married Ermina Brungardt in Garden City. She survives.

Other survivors include: three sons, Melvin, Garden City, James, Denver, and Ralph, Fairfield Glade, Tenn.; five daughters, Eileen Doak, Wichita, Evelyn Betts, Holcomb, Alice Walsh, Cadez, Ky., Janice Burling, St. Martinville, La., Marilyn Buhr, Plymouth, Minn.; two brothers, Paul, Garden City, and Adam, Dodge City; four sisters, Mary Eggers, Broken Arrow, Okla., Julia Stoecklein, Hutchinson, Rita Riebel, Minneola, and Elvira Billinger, Scott City; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Frank Rupp; and two sisters, Kathryn Zimmerman and Pauline Kaiser.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery.
