Ella is survived by two sisters, Gayle Richards, McCammon, ID; and Glenna Gardner, Idaho Falls, ID; three children, Steven (LeeAnn) Mc Arthur of Calif; Bonnie (Gary) Hooper and Daryl Mc Arthur Jr. of Centerville, UT; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Daryl L. McArthur, Sr., sons John and Lewis, parents James and Mabel Chantrill, seven brothers and sisters. She was the youngest of nine children.
A native of Rexburg Idaho, Daryl and Ella raised their family in Brea, CA. She retired with her husband in Corvallis, OR, then moved to Utah near her daughter. Ella earned a Bachelor of Education at Ricks College and taught elementary school and special education which she deemed a privilege. She loved and cherished her husband and misses him dearly. She was devoted to the LDS church. Her concern and compassion for others was her strength. Ella was the epitome of love and sacrifice. Family meant everything to her. She lived a pure life as a kind and understanding Mother and a wonderful Grandma.
Funeral Services were held at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary in Bountiful, UT on Saturday, November 1, 2008.
Interment was held at the Orem City Cemetery.
