Gladys was born to Florence M.(Jordan) & Frank C. Blacker.On Oct. 10,1917, she married Joseph E. McDill. To this union was born 3 daughters. Twila, Letha & Alma.
Joe & Gladys lived in Brownscreek Twp. for many years, in the same section that her parents lived. They purchased several farms in Ks. during their lives, so did a lot of moving. Gladys was a faithful wife & loving mother. She loved her garden & flowers & was a charter member of the Brownscreek Garden Club. She labored unselfishly in the farming operation with her husband, Joe. After his death, she zealously continued the responsibilities involved with the farms until her death.
