MRS. ANDREW JOHNSON.

After a long life of usefulness, Mrs. Andrew Johnson succumbed to the infirmities of old age, and died on Monday, at the advanced age of ninety years. Mrs. Johnson was unusualy (sic) strong and healthy for one of her age, having lived alone with her husband until a short time ago when she was taken sick and removed to the home of her son Gus Johnson in Jefferson township.

She had been permitted to complete her life's work before death claimed her, and her long journey was ended as is the closing of the last chapter of a book.

Short funeral services were conducted from the home Wednesday at two o'clock by Rev. Holter and the remains were laid away in Pleasant View (sic) cemetery. To the lonely companion and the bereft relatives is extended sincere sympathy.
