C. P. Caldwell, 50, died suddenly last night about 11 o'clock at his home at 2901 West Scull Street.

Mr. Caldwell was born in Jefferson County near Double Wells and is well known throughout this section. He recently became connected with the Clover Leaf Life Insurance Company.

He is survived by two sons, Alonzo and Will Caldwell, and a daughter, Edith Caldwell of Pine Bluff; three brothers, George Caldwell of Hooker; Irvin Caldwell of Pine Bluff; John Caldwell of Wynne; two sisters, Mrs. Hardy Massey of Pine Bluff and Mrs. Ella Williams of Little Rock.

Funeral arrangements are in charge of Ralph Robinson and Son and will be announced later.

Funeral services for C. P. Caldwell, aged 50, who died suddenly Tuesday night at 2901 West Scull Street, were held this morning at family residence by Rev. H. H. Spillyards, and the body was taken to Double Wells by Robinson and Sons for burial.
