Charles L. Binnall

GRANTSVILLE – Charles L. Binnall, farmer of this community and Granger, died at his home here early Sunday following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Grantsville L.D.S. first ward chapel Wednesday at 1 p.m. with bishop Frank Knowlton conducting. Burial will be in the Grantsville City Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home of Tooele.

Mr. Binnall was born in Salt Lake City, July 7, 1856, the son of Charles and Rosana Leach Binnall. He settled in Granger during its early history and lived there 33 years. He moved to Grantsville September 1, 1915, and had resided here since.

He was Tooele City road supervisor for a number of years and also served as city sexton.

Surviving are his widow, Mary Gardiner Binnall of Grantsville, and six daughters, Mrs. Sarah Davies, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Edith Hudson, Granger; Mrs. Ethel Palmer, Mrs. Olive Walk, Mrs. Violet Hammond and Mrs. Ruth Parkinson, all of Grantsville; 40 Grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Family home from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
