Ruby R. Becker, 66, of Mason City, died at 7:45 Thursday, March 19, at her residence.
Born July 18, 1925 in Lincoln to William and Winnie Deck Hamil, she married John P Becker, May 2, 1946 in Lincoln. He died on January 30, 1959. She also was preceded in death by one son, John two brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by one daughter, Jeannette K. Sampson of Columbus, Indiana; one son James L. of East Peoria; one sister, Rose Ellen Frakes of Middletown; and three grandchildren.
She was a member of the Mason City United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Services were held Sunday at Cain Funeral Home in Mason City, the Rev. Mark Kim officiated. Burial was in Mason City Cemetery.
