On Aug. 21, 2008 Ola Hunt Braheme went to live in her heavenly home. Ola was 98.
She was laid to rest at Rosepine Cemetery by Chaddick Funeral Home on Saturday,
Aug. 23, 2008. Ola was born to John and Docie Hunt on August 6, 1910. She had
three brothers and four sisters. After graduation, she had the urge to go west
to California, where she met and married the love of her life, George Braheme.
After the death of her husband, Ola was brought back to Louisiana by her niece
and guardian, Glenda Stewart. She spent the last five and a half years at
Rosepine Retirement Home.
