"Dallas Realtor Dies After Heart Attack - C.H. Munger, 48, prominent real estate man of Dallas and developer of Munger Place, died suddenly at his home, 5400 Swiss avenue, about 11 o'clock Wednesday night, just after returning from a theater. Death was due to a heart attack. Mr. Munger, native Texan, is survived by his wife, two sons, C.H. Munger Jr., a student at Washington and Lee University, and Robert Munger; three brothers, Eugene, Robert and Lonnie Munger, all of Birmingham, Ala., and four sisters, Mrs. Paul Earie, Mrs. Alex Montgomery, Mrs. Robert Thatch and Mrs. Hayden Brooks, all of Birmingham. Mr. Munger was born at Mexia in April of 1879. He was the son of the late R.S. Munger of Birmingham, for whom Munger Place was named. Mr. Munger had been a resident of Dallas for the last twenty-five years. He was a member of the Munger Place Methodist Church. He was a member of the Real Estate Board."

"C.H. Munger Burial Set for Saturday - Funeral services for C.H. Munger, 48, Dallas realtor, who died suddenly Wednesday night at his home, 5400 Swiss avenue, will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the residence. The Rev. George M. Gibson, formerly pastor of the Munger Place Methodist Church and now conference Sunday school superintendent, will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be J.R. Bower, H.R. Aldredge, Sawnie R. Aldredge, J.Fred Schoellkopf, Charles L. Dexter, John L. Puterhaugh, Dave Moses and Thomas J. Moroney. Mr. Munger was the developer of Munger Place, which was named after his father, the late R.S. Munger of Birmingham. He had been a resident of Dallas for the last twenty-five years."
