Mrs. Ellen Bean, 65 years old, widow of grant Bean, of 523 Broad Street, died at her home at 9:15 o’clock Saturday night of apoplexy following a four days’ illness. She was a member of Trinity United Brethren Church and Sunday school. Mrs. Bean leaves to survive the following children: Mrs. Miles Kleinfelter, with whom she made her home; Mrs. Edna Peiffer, Moses Bean, of Lebanon; John Bean, of Myerstown; Raymond, of Texas, and Boyd, of Kansas. Sisters surviving are Mrs. Emma Miller, of Kansas, and Mrs. Susan Flickinger, of Lebanon. Fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. [Lebanon Daily News, December 7, 1936]
