N.O. Pioneer Dies Suddenly
Joe Campbell, aged 72, formerly of North Ogden, a pioneer of 1850, died at Corinne late Tuesday after eating a hearty meal, according to word received here today. Rheumatism of the heart is given as the cause of death.
On arrival in Utah in 1850 he located at North Ogden and remained there until two years ago when he moved to Corinne. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Winifred Hill Campbell and the following sons and daugher: William, Warren, Byron and Parley Campbell, all of Ogden; Mrs. Alice Roylance, Portland; Mrs. Minnie Erickson, Vernal; Mrs. Maude Hadley, Mrs. Rebecca Ferry and Mrs. Sarah Percy, all of Salt Lake City.
Announcement of funeral services will be made later."
