Also surviving are daughters, Terry (Mike) Borland, of Lancaster and Cindy (Mike) Hensley, of Pataskala; a son, Dr. Kyle (Lynn) Allen, of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Lindsey (Craig) Stevenson, of Circleville, Seth Borland, of Lancaster, Lance Cpl. Brandon Allen, of Okinawa, Japan, Nicholas Allen and Christopher Allen, both of Cuyahoga Falls; a great grandson, Chase Stevenson; a brother, Dwight E. (Carolyn) Allen, of Columbus; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and many special friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles D. "Parky" Allen and by a niece, Sheila Grey.
Harold retired from the Mead Corporation in 1982 and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Walnut Street United Methodist Church, Scioto Lodge #6 F & AM and American Legion Post 757.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
