HARTFORD - Wesley F. Haney, 75, died Saturday at his home in Hartford.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Burial will be in North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to South Haven Area Hospice.
Mr. Haney was born Sept. 26, 1918, in Bangor. He retired in 1980 from the Watervliet Paper Co., where he was employed for 30 years. Survivors include: his wife, Myrtle; four sons - David Haney of El Cajon, Calif., Donald Haney of Hartford, Edwin Congdon of Lawrence and Terry Congdon of Boonefille, Miss.; one daughter, Leilla Baker of Dowagiac; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers - Arthur of Bangor and Douglas of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and two sisters - Mrs. Steve (Maxine) Ziemek of Lady Lake, Fla. and Mrs. John (Eileen) McDaniel of Orlando, Fla. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Vivian Cross, in 1973.
