Mrs. Fannie Dewey Griswold was born May 26th, 1835 in Bennington, Vermont, On Dec. 13, 1853 at Rochester N. Y. she was married to the late Asahel P. Griwsold.
To them were born five daughters, Mrs.Ella Pierce of this city, Mrs. Fanny Dewey Simon of Salt Lake City, Utah, Miss Anna L. Griswold of Gainesville, Va. and Mrs. Gertrude E. Satterfield of Birmingham, Ala. at whose home she died on the morning of the 15th of January. Miss Jennie Aikman, the eldest daughter, died a number of years ago.
Mrs. Griswold was an Episcopalian and formerly a member of the St. Johns church this city.
The remains will be brought to this city arriving Saturday morning. Due notice of the funeral will be given.
